For Your Eyes Only re-establishes the tougher tone once defining the series. There is even an allusion to the end of OHMSS, which gives it a strange and also pleasing air of continuity, even Blofeld is back (if only for the pre-titles sequence, and faceless, yet clearly distinguishable).

If it weren't for the truely horrible music score, this would be one of Roger Moore's best, staying true to the original tone of the series.
