Anja Becker, Universität Leipzig
Anja Becker was born on February 8, 1976 in Naumburg/Saale, the southernmost corner of Saxony Anhalt. After a first stay in the US (Virginia) as a foreign exchange student, she took up American Civilization and French Civilization at Leipzig University in October 1995. In 1998/1999 she studied at Harvard University sponsored by the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service). During the fall-term 1999/2000 she participated in the Erasmus/Sokrates exchange program with the Sorbonne Nouvelle (Paris III). She has been a member of the Intelligence Study Group since 1998 and is assistant editor of its publication, the Journal of Intelligence History. Her sparetime is devoted to writing fiction in English and German. She is currently preparing her Master's Thesis.
