Allison Davis-White Eyes
Oregon State University

Currently Indian Education Coordinator at Oregon State University responsible for the recruitment and retention of American Indian students into OSU and also responsible for liaison building between the University, the Nine Federally Recognized tribes of Oregon and the Pacific Northwest.

Education: Doctoral student of Education at Oregon State University. Currently holds a Master of Arts from UCLA in American Indian Studies and a Bachelor of Arts from UCLA in History (American, 1865 to present).

Previously worked with President David Frohnmayer of University of Oregon in creating a Native American Initiative to enhance educational opportunities for Native American students in the state of Oregon and beyond. Efforts included emphasizing language preservation development, residency by aboriginal right, the construction of a new Longhouse (community center), and the hiring of Native faculty to enrich university discourse, to pioneer creative research possibilities for the institution and to develop Native American students into community leaders.
