Chris Flor

Chris Flor was born on the 10th of December 1971 in Unna/Germany. He started his academic career as a student of German and American studies at Goethe-University in Frankfurt am Main in 1994. After his intermediate exams he moved to Berlin in 1996 and got involved in a wide array of academic as well as cultural projects: While studying at Humboldt-University he released records with komëit (http://www.komeit.net) and other music-formations, was a part of the on-air/on-line radio-collective convex tv ((http://www.art-bag.org/convextv) and composed film-soundtracks. He completed his MA in American studies with a paper on pre-oedipal themes within contemporary fiction. He is now living in the US with his family.
