Sladja Blazan, M.A. After collecting material as a DAAD Research Fellow at
the New York University she is currently completing her dissertation:
"Contemporary East and Central European (Im)Migrant Literature in USA". Her
research interests include: 20th century cultural theory, ethnic and
immigrant literature, popular fiction, gender studies etc. Before her Ph.D.
she has been working as a dramaturg at German and American theaters and as a
translator for German, English and Serbo-Croatian, as well as studying at
universities in Berlin, Germany and Dublin, Ireland.
