Matthias Oppermann
Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin

Born in 1974 and raised in Berlin. Matthias has been studying Geography, English and American Studies with minors in Educational Science and Psychology since 1996.

Education abroad includes terms spent at the University of Birmimgham, U.K., as well as at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. Matthias has worked as a tutor for the Georgetown Program and the Department of Cultural Geography and assisted in the preparation of the DAAD summer school program at Humboldt for the past two years. Researching issues concerning citizenship, New Media pedagogy and Hypertext Theory, Matthias is currently residing in Berlin.
