Why would anyone want to remake a perfect motion picture like Thunderball - without delivering any kind of new interpretation or serious artistic twist? Remakes can work, some are even better than the original. But this one is not only entirely superfluous, it is also that cheaply made that even the acting of Klaus Maria Brandauer as Largo cannot really shine.
The only sort of comfort is that this is an entirely unofficial film, not in any way associated with EON productions.
